Dr. Bashir Lone has been working at South Carolina Heart Center since July 1st. 2003. He completed his medical School at Government Medical College Srinagar, Kashmir, India in the foothills of Great Himalyas. He did his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiovascular diseases from Albert Einestein College of Medicine affliated hospitals ( Weiler Campus, MMC and BLHC ) Bronx, New York and later did his fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center -Health Science Center Brooklyn New York. He is the Director of Echocardiography and Vascular laboratory at South Carolina Heart Center. He is an Interventional Cardiovascular Specialist at Providence Hospital and is actively involved in research activities in addition to patient care. He is also a clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia, SC. Dr. Lone is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology ( FACC) and American College of Physicians (FACP).
